SPI is next week in Orlando! Six of us will be there from our Kirkland, WA and Napa, CA offices. If you’re attending, please stop by Clean Power Research at booth #4058, right next to the “Energy Networking Station” in Hall B.
Areas of emphasis for Clean Power Research at SPI
- Distributed Generation solutions that enable utilities and energy agencies to better plan, manage and integrate their growing solar fleets, including demos of SolarAnywhere FleetView®, our new DGValuator™ tool and PowerClerk Interconnect™, a new service that brings interconnection management online.
- Data sources and analytics to help increase sales and reduce administrative costs from lead generation to benchmarking fleet operations. We have a platform of web services to power your solar sales, lease and PPA programs.
- Advances in SolarAnywhere® for plant site resource evaluation and validation, performance benchmarking and power production forecasting, including 1km data for Hawaii, 1 minute forecasting and variability data and the new SolarAnywhere® SystemCheck™ programmable web service.
- An SPI session moderated by our own Tom Hoff called Accuracy of Solar Modeling & Forecasting where you can learn about advancements in forecasting solar production that continue to improve long-term performance estimates, and the implications for PPAs, SRECs, or where there is a cap on exported power. The session is on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM in Room 304G/304H. Other panelists include: Mat Taylor, Tetra Tech – Renewables; Saurabh Samdani, Cupertino Electric; Shawn Kerrigan, Locus Energy and Steven J. Hanawalt, Power Factors.
