In this presentation, you’ll learn about which type of solar irradiance data—typical year, ground or satellite—is appropriate for each stage of solar project development. The presentation then discusses the value of combining satellite and ground and data for high-accuracy solar resource assessment applications. Finally, through a case study example, you’ll learn best practices for conducting ground-tuning studies to obtain the lowest uncertainty and most-reliable solar resource available for a solar project site.
